@NumberOneBug@yiff.life This turned out to be very important to a friend of mine when she transitioned several years ago. It helped her wife deal with the changes, to know that rabbis had ruled on it and she wasn't breaking her marital vows.

mastodon is evidently cancelled so I'd like to introduce mothtodon, the new federated microblogging server
What's different? Toots are now squeaks, faves are now lamps, and boosts are now boops; also all posts are now printed out on caterpillar-safe paper and ink, then delivered between instances by trained carrier moths who subject them to the utmost scrutiny for harassment or hateful behaviour
We're still working on that last one so for now all posts are yeeted to the void, but even then it's better than the alternatives, right?

@IzzyWithAnIzze @echo If you're looking for hardcore Chinese tea (pu erh and stuff), Phoenix Tea in Burien is still good. There are several places around that do the more usual black tea, blends & tisanes. Also one the pandemic is over, come to the NW Tea Festival every autumn!
