George Newell, the co-creator of "Schoolhouse Rock" has died. :(

Like so many people my age, I loved those cartoons. They were part of my childhood, and they were in my mind when I started Grammar Girl —language education, but FUN language education.

Making modern songs like this has been on my back-burner projects to-do list since the beginning.
