Honestly, throwing milkshakes at fascist politicians wearing cheap suits is just perfect because it just makes them into something to be laughed at, which robs them of any power they may have.
Engaging with them is futile, because they won't change their terrible opinions. Arguing with them is exactly what they want. Campaigning or protesting against them still gives them publicity.
But turn them into a joke in public, and the best they can do is just walk away.
