@Pipponprops Love it! <3
I am once again telling you that I really want to be Wagon from ToQGer
Seriously though wow thinking about being her makes me so warm and fuzzy and happy!! ❤️
Something I consistently struggle with at cons is getting misgendered in costume.
Possessing such as I do the body of the average Roblox character, and favouring heavy armour cosplays, it’s a real mood killer to ruck up to the con floor and get he him’d for the day.
The ODST Is a prime example, I padded the hell out of the chest and hips in that, but the addition of the canonical kidney armour and back padding just exudes he him energy.
So something I’ve kept in mind throughout this one is how to wear it in a way where I don’t get punched in the face with a wall of dyphoria the whole con.
Still not sure I’m there with either of the first two shots, as I despise showing skin in general but I hate this less than the full boilersuit alternative in shot 3.
@pippin Yeah it is a really good feeling! Really would like to have a Wagon suit some day. <3

@avon_deer Just like all the other things he’s u-turned on.
@avon_deer Starmer spends way too much time listening to lobby groups instead of, yknow, members and the public.

mh (-) sadge, got too excited
so I saw a 3D model that someone had made of Wagon's helmet (ToQGer) and someone else had 3d printed and it and I got really excited about it and inquired about buying the files to print myself. Unfortunately the files aren't for sale as it was a private commission and I'm pretty sad about it
felt close to being able to at least partly be wagon RL and nope not for me
I made a 3D printed Shakuhachi!
I play the Shakuhachi (not well) mostly cos its an extremely offline experience; just your breath and a carefully crafted piece of wood making pleasent sounds. So I quite like the idea of it as some part of the soundscape of a cyberpunk world for similar reasons.
But in an intensely industrial environment like that, the materials available, the process of printing, the density of the build, etc etc, would all contribute to altering the sound and feel, compared to traditional bamboo.
A Shakuhachi like this could be printed from cheap materials, even on very small low-end printers.
To play, it doesn't feel as "alive" as wood; It doesn't subtly flex and thrum under your fingers. But it picks up warmth from your body well and sounds much closer to a bone flute.
I might itterate on this design and see where it goes.
@avon_deer If anything we get better value for money nowadays. I just wish more of the money was going to the labour and not into the pockets of executives.
