I just released a new version of Monster Genetics. Now, you can generate fantastical descriptions of species by pressing D, and as the species evolve, so do the descriptions.

Monster Genetics is a little simulation game I've been working on for the past month. It's pretty bare bones at the moment, but I thought people might be interested in trying it out. In my libtcod game experiment, I had a bug where monsters would eat stairs if they got hungry

Cats make me very happy
On my short walk this morning, I was visited by a lizard, a bird, and a squirrel. The squirrel let me get close enough to say hi before they scurried up a tree. It was a good walk
NetHack shenanigans
After getting amnesia, I took off all my clothes (in case of destroy armor) and read an unknown scroll at an altar. The scroll burst into flames, angering a god who threw lightning at me. I barely survived, but while I was hastily putting my armor back on, the priest came over and finished me off
