Taking part in a seed variety trial again this year. The EXPERIMENTAL WATERMELONS hybridized from 22 different varieties contains great mysteries and much excitement. There's also the unknown wonders of experimental rainbow kale that can supposedly tolerate temperatures down to like -20°c without dying.
It's like barely halfway through May and one of my tomato plants is already trying to bloom! Dang!
Wow tusky runs super super well! Everything is so fast and smooth and doesn't stutter like most apps do? (Old phone that was never exactly fast to start with so this is awesome!)
The growth chamber got upgraded with additional space and purple since we were last here!
Oh wow Tusky animates clicking on things and the stars go sparkle poof that's awesome!

@PennyPennyPenny Like, there's probably always going to be a nagging undercurrent thought of "I'm not nonbinary enough to count" floating through, but I'm not planning on listening to that. Probably.

@PennyPennyPenny And I like that me. That's a very me kind of me shaped by a lifetime of being me that I can now better describe and have more words for, though my vocabulary is still limited in how I can describe myself to others.

More recently I've become more comfortable, and happy identifying as non-binary. I definitely feel more whole as a person this way. But I still present very masc & have no real impetus or desire to change how I present myself physically, as I feel very comfortable and happy the way I am in that regard. A scruffy, kinda rectangular dork creature.

So #KorpsCon is raising money for The 519 (a queer youth org in Toronto), and I was lucky enough to win commission slots from both distressedegg@mellified.men and Karen (@KorpsPropagana on birdsite) this morning! I love how the same character was taken in two wildly different directions from two great artists and I will adore both pieces forever!
