@bookstodon Well, two weeks before the end of the year, and I have a title to add to the best #books of 2022: NO COUNTRY FOR EIGHT SPOT BUTTERFLIES, by poet, writer, and Indigenous Human Rights lawyer Julian Aguon.

The book is a remarkable set of essays, speeches, rememberances, and poetry which point to the interiority of life experience as well as our global connectedness. It is also a love letter to those who've paved the way and helped us find the contours of the justice we seek.
