sorry I haven't been reposting my Silver Ball Century #pinball streams here consistently!
Tonight is a bonus stream because pinball in 1992 is too good for just two streams

#eurovision as a peace project; national competition re-envisaged as something gloriously silly, irreverent, irrelevant, fun, camp and democratic.
@pup_hime @deejvalen what else would “godspeed” mean, if it doesn’t mean that each god makes you go faster
I have now uploaded the 83遊戯機械総合年鑑 (1983 Amusement Machine Yearbook)

@christianp oh and I see how this isn't the same. the rule I described would not get off the ground -- it would keep b=1 forever and just produce 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...
It's late 1991 on Silver Ball Century, my chronological playthrough of virtual #pinball : https://cohost.org/arborelia/post/1447700-ball-be-back
It's funny how this (the TRS-80 MC-10) is a "forgotten computer" to most people, but it's actually what I thought people meant by "trs-80" or "trash-80" for a bunch of my life. It was the first computer that I "owned" myself, though it was a hand-me-down and I was very young. I have a lot of fond memories of doing nothing very useful with it.

You still have to export from one and import to the other, but that's a simple thing (and will probably be automated soon)..

@christianp so, is it actually the smallest change to a or b that produces an a*b not in the sequence, with ties broken by smallest a*b?
@christianp @gregeganSF but now I see that this rule fits for the first 16 entries, but it would put (7,1) before (7,2).
@christianp @gregeganSF I think the rule is: you have two integers, a >= b >= 1, initially a=b=1.
At each step, you add a*b to the sequence, then change either a or b, so that the new a*b is the least such number that isn’t already in the sequence.
Silver Ball Century, my chronological playthrough of #pinball, is now going to be on Thursday evenings instead of Monday.
That starts next week. Tonight is just an arbitrary pinball stream
I like games that you can play again and they're different the next time: such as randomizers, roguelikes, and gender expression! Twitch stream: https://twitch.tv/arborelia
