@AlexandriaYandere
wadhi, looking at a very angry bear: i want to find something like this...but more

federation drama v: the same thing wont stop striking back

i'm just watching the whole witchestown drama play out and holy shit people are bad and do not understand being told that "hey if you're bad we'll block you from one instance"
i'm sorry but i think if you have 1,200 followers you have NO RIGHT to complain about being hidden from *people who didn't follow you anyway*
why do you care so muchhhhh

@AlexandriaYandere hm so i might be a lil biased, buuuuuut,

(they're all so good though!!!)

@CobaltVelvet@octodon.social *literally at least over 4 hours of just yelling about the admin whyyyy*

subtooting, complaints about federation

its great how if you mute someone but someone else on the instance follows them, and that someone you muted replies to a post it'll appear so you get to watch the person you muted fight over their right to be an awful person

@blackle memory map the executable and jump to its entry point

are there any languages that i dont know of that allow you to "open-air" function calls (call functions without parenthesises)

ones i know allow you to do this
* ruby
* perl

@Trev@icosahedron.website that's ruby, not javascript

i mostly made this interpreter not as like "brainfuck interpreter" but like
"here's a template if you want to write an interpreter for your very own esoteric language that takes commands and uses a memtape like brainfuck"
that's why you can easily just replace chars with your own symbols and rewrite the funcs so they do what you want them to

my favorite part is that instead of using .split("") just to split every character in javascript you can just
.split``

note that if you turn on debug features with the default example program you might just end up freezing your browser because apparently console.log takes a lot of cycles (who knew)

(also it has debug tracing and should mostly respect how most interpreters work (8 bit cells, unsigned, 2^15 long memory))

terrible *terrible* brainfuck interpreter in javascript i made after looking at random github ones and saying "oh, i can do better than that!" (i did not)
it's 69 lines exactly

ghostbin.com/paste/oc7re

so i'm trying to write a brainfuck interpreter in javascript and i killed it after it was taking a super long time interpreting a rot13 script
i checked the output out of curiosity and now i feel bad computerfairi.es/media/biH6IaO computerfairi.es/media/AIUNiCy

wondering how i got "5633170b30241d02171600001a1f1344" as a google suggestion
