@chr@cybre.space @cyberpunk@cybre.space honestly i was hoping for a way for the brain to directly interface, allowing you to walk while you use the arms

@boots hi, friends. its the titular Luna. joining this thread to explain some things.
my parents have always been extremely narcassistic and unsupportive. my father doesnt care about me at all, and the little "care" my mom has for me is just disguised abuse. they wont let me eat until i lose weight. Contacting authorites is a no-go for several reasons.

I sincerely, sincerely thank you for all the funding ive recieved so far. i love you all.

i know boosting things like that feels weird, (it felt really weird posting it), but basically i seriously need people including you, literally whoever's reading this right now, to at least boost the post
i just
fuck.

okay, so my gf luna is currently in a very, very bad place, and she needs money.
basically, she's being denied food and such by her parents, so she needs to get the money for it on her own.
it'd be nice if you either sent something to help her out or boosted this

@tcql@octodon.social oh, the tootlluminati

so i figured it out
apparently int 0x10/ax 0x1301, despite reading from the stack perfectly fine, decides not to ever pop these items off the stack, which i did not know, leading me to make the mistaken assumption i didnt have to pop them off
neat

apparently my little MBR thing is now suddenly working fine until approximately 1 minute after it starts (augh)
where it then suddenly decides to jump to something on the stack (AUGH)
that isn't even on the front of the stack (WHY)
fun happy joy time

okay for some reason the image i posted doesn't seem to work hold on

@lanodan_tmp yeah, it works
basically what i'm saying is "sure, you theoretically have to deal with a ton of complex things, but the normal video mode stuff works, and it works well enough"
pc speaker is not acceptable

12 lines of assembly

@lanodan_tmp
mov ax, 0x13
int 0x10
push 0xA000
pop ds
mov bx, 0xfa00
f:
dec bx
mov byte [bx],bl
jnz f
e:jmp e
times 510 - ($-$$) db 0
db 0x55,0xaa

i don't know if that'll work because qemu is still installing, but it'll probably work
