@bea yeah, basically have it so that it federates with the link but you dont see it

@girltype heres a power tip: if you find a link to a mastodon post and want to see it in the web ui you can just paste it into the search bar and itll load in the drawer

is there a github issue for "option to hide image links"

@girltype this breaks image embedding on multiple instances and isnt officially supported
basically uh itd be really nice if this were a thing but dont do this
