@bea @blackle yeah, that happens sometimes
and it shouldn't
it really, really shouldn't

@bea @somarasu
robot doesn't have to talk to be intimate
robot just has to be intimate

@somarasu see, now i just want to prove you wrong and make a very intimate robot

@squirrel i read this as "(cat jesus christ)(stop licking the floor)" and

@Siphonay@octodon.social okay but i want to see what would happen if we assumed literally every pixar movie ever happened same universe

@clarkenciel@cybre.space IT TOOK ME AN HOUR TO GET IT

@shel he would register on every single one so nobody else could get his name, then never use the fediverse ever again

@clarkenciel@cybre.space that's how Watson beat Jeopardy

@jk honestly i've actually heard [source engine metal impact sound] as a stock-sound
it's rarer than that, but like every time i hear it i giggle a little

@jk [removes face from thermostat, turns around but sees a refrigerator] Woah [runs off]

[source engine metal impact sound]

@jk how does it do what it do [face directly against the thermostat]

@jk woah [runs to thermostat, leans towards it, looking at it like it just fell from outer space, poking it] how does this work on it's own??? this must be some sorta...artifcial intelogence [stares off into distance]

@bea i mean like if you just have it so it's an RNN trained on a bunch of "[question]: [answer]" lines, and asking a question is just forcing it to generate text starting with "[question]:", you can theoretically just have it run on it's own, causing it to generate questions which it then answers
