aesthetic: wiki pages that are obviously written by one person who you can tell were trying their best
whenever i see an infodump for something and there's just stuff like "i think this is 1 when youre standing still?" and "luke says this is when youre in the air :s"
it makes me happy because it just reminds me "oh wow, im reading something a person made. thnak you person"

@boots basically twitter being able to read your DMs doesnt really matter because theres no possible personal interest in twitter reading your DMs, but everyone acts as if there is so says the threat pattern is the same

@boots i really hate the 'its just like twitter' thing because volume of relevant things is much higher there than here -- reading your DMs as a twitter admin would be pretty tiring and hard to do on a visual scan

tbh mastodon shouldn't even be used for stuff like dms. Y'all should just signal or Snapchat or telegram or fb messenger or WhatsApp or wee chat or line or discord or skype or iMessage or email or shit just run a xmpp server

honestly the best way to horribly confuse people reading code is to have it sometimes pretend to look just like normal code
have a long multiline comment in the middle of something
sometimes use built-in functions and normal looking variables
and then just bend them until they're completely in the wrong shape
it's like one of those surreal optical illusion paintings, everything's fine until you realize the staircase connects to itself despite going down
