TIL: The display language in each profile on #Netflix affects which shows are available.

So, when I had mine in norwegian a few Thai movies were available. When I changed it to english, it doubled the number of movies.

The reason appears to be that these movies only had English subtitles, and it refused to show them to my Norwegian profile.

Even when I clicked a direct link to the show, it only had a "notify me" option.

Very strange UX. I found out because my friends had extra shows.
