This has evolved into router hacking because it has ATA capabilities and DECT support. It's a technicolor 799vac XTREAM, very common shitbox for ISP to vaguely customize the UI and send out. This one has older firmware and known exploits letting me get a root shell. However my goal is to get web interface access to configure SIP stuff.

Flashing firmware to a Cisco ATA 186 box to get SIP support was fun. Had to connect a phone and then dial the IP of my laptop running an update server providing the new firmware for the box.
