that's bc I had this weird thing built up in my head where I sounded like a dumb yokel/hated my parents for having it
For reference, I am from the south and have been around southern accents since for fucking ever and lost a lot of it during speech therapy to counter my stutter
I decided to stop suppressing it bc I'm not gonna be associated with my parents anymore, ig?? idk
