wanna start working towards having some general methods of chemical analysis on hand. I have a (bad) buret and a lot of experience with volumetric methods but bleh, I wanna get away from having to do everything by hand. so I think coulometric titrations are the way to go

coulometric analysis is a really cool idea. one I haven't tried yet

the idea is that instead of adding some kind of titrating reagent as a prepared solution and then measuring the volume needed (that's why it's called "volumetric analysis", you're getting a volume measurement as your data point)--

🦄 "datum"

who the fuck uses that word, Mona?! anyway, instead of adding a _volume_, you generate a titrating reagent electrochemically, using a known quantity of electrical charge
