does *anyone* know first hand about getting #ffxiv to run on Linux? is it a WINE thing? is there a client?

usually you install it with playonlinux (because it quickly creates separate wine bottles) and run with lutris (because it can download and set up upgraded latest wine)
@Alyx winedb has a tier system: "Platinum" is perfect, "Gold" is almost perfect, "Silver" means you'll have to jump through some hoops to start, "Bronze" means runs badly and "Garbage" means doesn't run at all. Test your luck.
