thinking about how mad we still are about hearing an ethics prof say that if things like music or scientific papers were always free and not a reliable source of profit, then no one would ever bother to make them
the music part of that is bad enough
the science part of that displays an absolutely shocking ignorance about how scientific publishing works

@diodelass jesus christ the world is full of people who make music and even science for nothing. (a lot of the latter are volunteer lab assistants haha) was this a real ethics prof or some schmuck with a computer science credential
