argh should I just set up a virtual BSD box on my desktop and have done with it? I'd be tempted to do the dual boot thing like I used to but then my GF would leave me
@Alyx I built a shitty little Linux box just to host VMs like that on. But honestly, probably running it under VirtualBox on Windows is enough.
@Alyx You'll find this quite amazing: I finally gave up on Linux on the Desktop. I guess 25 years of self abuse was enough. I installed Windows 10. I'm not terribly thrilled with 10 (I much preferred 7) but it gets the job done with less fuss than Linux did.
