I wish I could say I'm shocked that a trans girl committed suicide because of bullying endorsed and enabled at #39c3 but it's not even mild surprise, of course these cliquey in groups that refuse COVID measures and welcome abusers would let this happen

@calisti mostly just lashing out in anger at a subculture that I don't belong to because of the stereotype of trans girl hacker I don't fit and resent because of it. I'm also not impressed that bullies were allowed to attend at all for this to happen, regardless of how directly involved the organisers were. And the lack of mandatory full time masking at an event that large
