@europeanspodcast @A_denie Or, have we - inadvertently - trained ourselves to be suspecious of the good. Somehow learned that only the bad is the 'real' news.
@PartyPlantain @europeanspodcast My hopeful interpretation is that it's because "people and things are working as they should" is not newsworthy, because it's the norm.
News covers outliers, failures, incidents. Good things happening is commonplace. People being decent and kind happens everywhere.
