hey idk if y'all are aware of the amazing comic that is Monstress but uh, i am extremely queer for 98% of the cast and the writing and art are both consistently excellent

it's also really dark, deals realistically with a fantasy setting in wartime/post-wartime, and does not shy away from traumatic things, so like. super heavy content warning across the board. i don't think i can list it all out but if folks have specific questions i could answer those

anyway i'm probably gonna share some pics

starting us off with that 2% of monstress characters (the ones i don't am gay for), here we have an actual cat and a child. both of them speak deep wisdom, as you can see
