I feel like people on the left will have to make a new label for ourselves because "Socialism" has no meaning anymore but most people think it means having welfare/SocDem and "Communism" has been associated with Authoritarianism, gulags, and famine.
What to call ourselves?

@TheFourEyed i legitimately like just 'left' or 'leftist' as a term for this. it's far from ideal, but it's simple enough, gets the point across, and changing what it means would require fundamentally redefining how people view politics
