if you ever wanted to know why some cultures consider pork an unclean meat, here's one piece of the puzzle:
barbecued pork, excluding the spices involved, smells exactly like burning human flesh
cannibalism, hospitals, surgery, also kinda gross
@autistikai yeah my mum had gave up bacon (and I think went entirely vegetarian) during nursing training because the when surgery tools were in the autoclave sterlising, they smelt like bacon due to the flesh left on them
