Very specific question for trans or other non-cis people who have dysphoria that does not appear to have any medical interventions that can treat it

I have a nonbinary person in my life who experiences dysphoria but it's dysphoria with no--as they put it--no "goal" in mind in terms of their body. Some things make it worse (e.g. periods) but no hormone or surgical intervention has any appeal or draw.

If you have similar feelings: what are things that help you? Or that make you feel seen?

I'm struggling with trying to show caring and affirmation because I desperately want to believe that there must be ways to ease their dysphoria some but they've considered and discarded all medical interventions & even things like changing name/pronouns (they say they them is "less bad" but nothing else is better) and I'm.. Just kinda lost.

@AzureHusky most of what we have to say others have already said, but:
• kai uses they/them pronouns as a placeholder while they try to figure out neopronouns. this sounds similar?

• a lot of nb folx we know go on hormones for just a little bit and then stop. doesn't sound like this'd be useful here, but it might be
