I have an existential conundrum facing me.

I need advice.

This might be a thread.

This is mostly not serious.

For the holidays this year I am making gift boxes in the style of a subscription box featuring serialized media.

Depending on how much effort this is, and how it is receieved, I may make this a regular thing (perhaps quarterly or bi-monthly) and I may open it up for other people to subscribe.

The conundrum, or the First conundrum at least:

Is it a SciFi box⁉️

When I originally proposed this idea five years ago, it was to be an entirely SciFi box.

But serial != sci-fi

Lots of popular media was serialized! Adventure stories, mystery, popular fiction, soap operas!

I was planning to call it Space Age Serial Box (and then another company started using the name Serial box, so now I have to find something else to call it, and I'm not thrilled about that because Serial Box is clever, and other names are not.)

But even Space Age doesn't imply sci-fi. There were lots of interesting developments in the atomic era, and lots of pre-space age serials too!

So conundrum numero dos!

What do I call the damnthing?

I can't rightly call it "space age" anything if I include stuff from the thirties (and I *will* include stuff from the thirties and maybe even earlier)

And I can't call it a serial box, even if it comes in a faux cereal box (and it will come in a faux cereal box.)

@ajroach42 If it's gonna be in a serial, I mean cereal, box, why not make a pun off of a cereal brand?

Seriously Serials!

Boney Crunch! [Horror]
Fruity Flakes! [Comedy]
Spacepuffs! [Sci fi]
