what's with people who get removed from things and decide that the best course of action in response is just "affirm their decision by being a terrible person"

@boots Unfortunately, I just had a friend who was removed from something because of false rumors floating around about him and I was trying to put myself in their situation. More you resist the false rumors, the more one might think you're affirming being a bad person. :/

@boots Some of it is a bit of nihilism: if they feel like they were removed for trivial BS and aren't given the chance to apologize, they figure “I may as well give them a good reason to have banned me”

@boots I feel the same way about relationships. If someone dumps you, the last thing to do is be a dick and make them feel justified that they did it.
