Bad idea of the day:
A library laid out based on physical proximity between books being ranked the same as semantic proximity in terms of word2vec models on their contents. Shelves would occur in clusters, with similar books adjacent in three dimensions.

The floor would probably have a purely aesthetic fibbonacci spiral pattern, because lol math.

@enkiv2 strings to hang each book from the ceiling, shelves only occurring when a large amount are close enough to each other

@boots Well, I was thinking this would be and actual library where you could check books out rather than an art exhibit.

But, for isolates, having columns that hold one book in the middle of the floor makes sense.

@enkiv2 hm, i was thinking the strings would just simply be attached in a way that you could just take the book off and put it back on so you could check books out

@enkiv2 i was thinking a little divider with a floor: ⊥
you could simply slip the book on and off it easily as you would a bookmark

Follow

@enkiv2 basically, just insert the divider into the middle of the book and it'll be held by the floor and not fall over due to the divider
