here it is. im boycotting the computer industry. this is my manifesto. .. i wont buy a new computer until i can get a monitor with at least 3 of the following:
- 4k+ resolution
- ultrawide
- HDR / 1000 nits brightness
- 120 Hz
i mean the 120Hz isnt really necessary because i dont play games. but i quite like the idea of seeing double the number of cursors as i rapidly shake the mouse
@jk windows has a setting for cursor trails
you could just set it to "one cursor very close to my cursor" so that when you shake you get two cursors
@jk @boots They just act like two completely independent mouse cursors, so say you can operate two apps at one. There's still only one focus though, and mouseover/hover is broken in most apps I think, so the utility is limited. I actually think some Windows apps let you do this too, but it's just a few lines in the X config.
@boots @jk but it DOES have a multiple cursor feature. Double the mice double the cursors. I've used it.
