The discussion forum software vendor Vbulletin decommissioned its .org user forum this past week. They announced the closure almost a year ago:

I happened to visit the domain this morning, and it redirected me to a Gogole Play Store page for a Russian-language racing game. After sending a note to Vbulletin.com, I noticed the redirect was gone and the page saying the forum was closed was served.

VBulletin was expensive, but it was a really great piece of software with a very strong community that made many amazing add-ons for it. I'll definitely miss it.
