veganism, beekeeping, honey 

so i'm not a vegan nor a vegetarian, i have enough restrictions on my diet atm, but most of my friends are.
so the thing abt european/northamerican honeybees is, that they basicly can't survive on their own anymore.
nature is just too destroyed, pesticides aren't helping and euopean bees also can't really deal with varroa on their own.
so i think if it's honey by local beekeepers/someome u know i'd be okay to eat from an ethical vegan perspective.

@mara as a vegan human this is basically my practice --> only if i know the bees/have meet them, particularly excited about old school style + innovative new hives that involve less bee crushing (: situated within a framework that wants to center indigenous bees/bees that don't make honey for us
