You can contact local pharmacies to ask if they have any programs for recycling and/or donation of empty pill bottles. You can also contact vet clinics, animal shelters, homeless shelters, or free clinics about empty pill bottle donation. There are also some programs for donating them to third world countries but the most prominent one seems to be a Christian org
