I've been using Beat Saber as a decent way to improve my cardio since I've been fairly sedentary for years now and it's really helped a lot so I'm hoping that I can do this + diet and try and shed some pounds this year. :v

I try to exaggerate my movements and dance a bit during Beat Saber too so I can keep my heart beating fast and work up a good sweat (no fail mode is working well, planning to try endless and set up 1h playlists possibly).

only bad thing is my fucked up left knee really does not like squatting/crouching for some parts in songs and destroys me after some of them but it's a lot easier on it than running or other things would be I suppose

@bat
You could also turn off those barriers! Also, I love that the game scores your hits based on how clean of an arc you make before and after, so you have to actually make cutting motions instead of twitching in that general direction

@pan Yeah, I try and go for the cutting motions, even on expert songs with no fail, so I'm still moving my arms quite a lot non-stop and with some force/speed.

I like the barriers for side to side and don't mind the occasional squad, but some songs are like basically doing a whole set of them and my knee does not like that many in a row lol
