I hate Discord. At a conceptual level. I want to just take everyone with me back to IRC where communities are less fragmented and more tight-knit.
Discord and its garbage signal-to-noise ratio, its tacked-on storefront, its gamer culture can all just burn.
If IRC needs to be made more accessible to be readopted, then I shall work to make it more accessible. If IRCv3 features need implementing to make the platform look enticing, then I shall work to implement them. Anything to get away from Discord and take people with me.
