@slooploon your post seemed like a "new to the site" message, and many new folks aren't aware of how #hashtags are more important here than they are on #twitter, due to lack of full text search.

@mattcropp yeah i get where you come from, i just have a visceral aversion against getting explained stuff i already know.
i intentionally avoid increasing my chances to be found by people who are too far away from my bubble because that also increases the bullshit ratio of replies, which is already too high for my nerves. (no, yours doesn't count as BS)
