the floor tile puzzle in the fourth dungeon of Link's Awakening had me stumped

later i was able to get maps for Zelda 1 out of the hint line by asking for the dungeon dimensions, drawing a Battleship-style grid, and then asking which squares to fill in

they were surprisingly accommodating on that front in retrospect
