Wow, so, I just **ALMOST** got massively scammed by an Indeed listing. Employers were looking for somebody to do Remote Data Entry, the application asked surprisingly few questions, but the red flags started about when they asked me to contact someone via the Signal app for my interview.

They responded near instantly to my contact, asked questions that seemed AI-like or heavily scripted, asked me if i was familiar with a list of very specific hardware... then asked me if I could buy it myself, and they'd send a check to cover it.

I might be desperate for work now but that's no reason for me (or anybody I know) not to be Extra Careful about job prospects that seem too good to be true!
