@dosgameclub I’m building a 486 computer and I want to use it to follow along and play all your monthly games. I got an IBM Ambra from a used market and a good CRT monitor. I installed DOS 6.22 and I’m waiting in a copy of windows 3.1.

This may be outside of your lane, but any experience with adding a network card to a 486 and connecting it over your lan? I was so young when I ran 3.1 that I can’t remember! Anyways, my hope is to get Indiana jones running soon. I loved it when I was a kid.

@williamtries @dosgameclub I've had surprisingly good times with that once I found the right kind of card; my 486 Aptiva presently has a 3Com Etherlink III in ISA. The drivers for it are still available and easy to locate for both DOS and Windows 3.11, and it is not difficult to set up mTCP in a pure-DOS environment to access LAN and/or internet (for example, to FTP things to/from the computer): brutman.com/mTCP/

(gah, had the wrong link earlier)
