I'm a sucker for ooold books about, like, how to do practical stuff like make paint and soap and inks and stuff like that. all the things we've gotten super used to as commercial products
(like...we assume we're _always_ gonna get that stuff at the supermarket or in a convenient yellow Amazon tote or whatever, right? well...maybe not for much longer...)
I have a silly dream of making a paper machine, something I could feed with clean cotton rag and it would pulp it and extrude sheets. that's getting a bit ambitious considering we've never built any machine that wasn't in kit form :=/
