long, real

[clickbait personality test voice]
you like processors, halogens, lossy compression codecs, power transistors, solvents, torches, and titanium. you have a git profile full of repositories containing almost-finished and completely-cursed code, all written in Rust. you feel like you have a lot of potential in some field, but you still can't figure out what that field is, and your crippling mental illnesses make your career, whatever it is to be, almost impossible to pursue. once you bond with a computer, no one else will ever touch it again without feeling profoundly terrified. your favorite animal is the raven, and your favorite color is 100nm ultraviolet. you love your friends, but you worry that you're starting to scare them.

re: long, real

you cultivate the image of a mad scientist-witch with a million ideas and a ton of experience in your field, but you've really accomplished relatively little that will ever matter, and it bothers you that you can't really remember how you got your undergraduate degree in physics. you think it would make a lot of sense to go to graduate school, but you don't know what you want to do, which gives you the sinking feeling that it won't go well if you try. you're afraid that you've overrepresented your powers so much that you're getting close to actual deceit, and live in constant worry that you might not have fully admitted the truth of who you are to yours--
