@shel I can remember one really good Smith moment and it came very early, when he shouts "NO ONE HUMAN HAS ANYTHING TO SAY TO ME TODAY" at the end of the "space whale" episode. For the most part Smith comes across to me as competent but out of his depth, and he can't put real weight behind his dialogue like Tennant could when he really wanted to. Tennant could be _believably_ old and weary, but Smith? never
