Brought to a low boil, added soup base to the water to make it broth, turned down the heat. Should just be cruising from here out.

Success! We have soup! A bunch of soup! Oh geeze, this is a lot of soup! (No, actually, this is good - we'll be freezing most of it and it'll be meals for several days.)
