she-ra squealing

@Quinntessential that episode was absolutely delightful and honestly one of the best things ever :blobaww:

my partner and I finished the series yesterday and I want - need - more :o

@a_puma01@snouts.online PoE2 is definitely worth a look... honestly, by the end of the game I was kind of in awe and just really sad that things had to come to an end.

I hope to once again have a chance to fill the role of Watcher of Caed Nua :paw_fx90_pray:

@hailsatan@mastodon.social :paw_fx90_point_up:

the truth, it has been spoken

@a_puma01@snouts.online Yeah... I think the main difficulty I had with DOS2 was just not really being invested in the story or world, how they were telling the story, and not really being into the characters. The combat was delightful (especially with co-op!), but it was't really enough to keep me hooked on its own sadly... despite my best efforts :blobnervous:

Meanwhile POE2 basically had me squeeing with delight nonstop 😅

normally. i'm a crow. however, somewhere deeper inside of me, i'm a cat. quite a Cat.

when the cat comes out. everything is very different.

Honestly I know that this is the place for me to be when I can casually mention Fallen London or Sunless Sea and people actually know what I'm talking about 🤷

lewd adjacent, but mostly silly

i have the habit of never wearing pants around the house

normally, this isn't a problem at all, but then i'm like "chel, can you get me X" where X is a cold drink of some kind

inevitably, whatever i asked for ends up getting spilled on my bare thighs with little or no warning and lots of screaming, bc @Chel is a friendly furry space cadet

i swear, that's literally the only way to get a reaction out of me, lol

lewd adjacent, but mostly silly

@Scarly and you never let me just lick the stuff off

it's terrible ;~;

@allegras1stmate@tabletop.social @Scarly I think I'll pass for now (I already have around seven discord servers I lurk in without saying much ;_;), but I do enjoy the invite 💖

and... I think next time I'm on the site (probably Monday) I'll take you up on this~

@Scarly @allegras1stmate@tabletop.social as for the Discord, I haven't I'm afraid! I'm... honestly horrifically shy when it comes to live chats, and just clam out to an absolutely silly degree when it comes to them 😅

I never know what to say, and always worry about coming across poorly :blobfrowningbig:

@Scarly @allegras1stmate@tabletop.social WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT 🤣

okay I confess that my talk about doing that was partially just trolling Scarly, though I would be lying if I claimed to not have an unending, unyielding curiosity :blobsmile:

but - I will remain resolute and firm in my... uh... lack of self destructive impulses. it's just... it's just hard. I WANT TO KNOW.

(this is how you know that they've done a good job, lore-wise XD)

@allegras1stmate@tabletop.social this is lovely and inspirational to hear :blobaww:

there's so much left I want to do in the game, not least of all going NORTH.

just don't tell my partner. she isn't fond of the idea of her in-game wife running off into the jaws of self destruction 😅

@VyrCossont@cybre.space That would have gone a long way toward making it a bit more fun I think. I know they didn't want to make a trading game, but... well... honestly? It would have added a lot to the game imo.

@Scarly @bridge@deadinsi.de as scarly's bar tender, I can confirm

I'm a little better, but not by a huge margin I think? :blobthinking:

@sophia@glitterkitten.co.uk ...I think my brain just hurt itself a bit trying to understand the thought process behind that.

Gotta love people. 😬

@venatus honestly I think Sunless Sea is best experienced with manual saves enabled. I can understand what they were trying to do by making it SUPER HARSH by default, but it was honestly incredibly self defeating in the end, I feel. 🤷

@VyrCossont@cybre.space Oh goodness. Sunless Sea is honestly one of my favorite PC games of all time, but I can very much understand where you're coming from and can't blame you one bit.

I had a really hard time getting into it at first myself. it's a beautiful, lovely game, but damn does it test your patience - especially early on.

I hope Sunless Skies will be a bit less frustrating to start off in because I really want Failbetter to succeed. They seem like a really lovely developer tbh.

@sophia@glitterkitten.co.uk :blobsleepless:

that... sounds... what the hell? :psyduck:

I always want to get back into Fallen London, but the incredibly grindy nature of my current content makes it really difficult. :blobfrown:

Which is unfortunate, because in terms of lore and all that good stuff, it easily has what is probably one of my favorite game universes of all time.

I feel like I ruined Divinity: Original Sin 2 by playing Pillars of Eternity 2 first. :blobthinking:
