Mabinogi is ancient by comparison, and a bit rough around the edges, but is kinda beautiful by comparison? I'm prolly biased tho.

@soft I dunno about movies exactly, but in terms of video I remember downloading and watching bootleg anime episodes while on sub-56k dial-up. the videos were only like... 50-60 megs each due to being absolutely tiny and having horrible audio... but it was basically all I had access to cause I was kinda poor, lol

I showed them to a friend who was into anime and he was just like "...this is shit" 😅

MS2? I thought it was kinda cute early on, enjoyed the chibi aesthetic and goofing around, but... yeah, the gameplay wasn't exactly super engaging in the slightest, and the amount of content available at launch was... more or less non existent
