i am so damn thankful that animal crossing came out when it did @_@

the whole stay at home and social distancing things really haven't helped me with my attempts at actually posting things on here due to how completely boring my life has become as a result 😅

i feel like the new animal crossing is one of the few things helping me to stay sane through everything right now 😅

eerie as fuck walking down a street to run an errand and seeing the neighborhood taqueria abandoned, considering under normal circumstances it always has a line going halfway out the door :/

woke up and realized that we'd mindlessly packed all of our dishes and cups the night prior, with 24 hours remaining until we actually leave this place.

...and then it's time to move, and it's like "OH WAIT, ACTUALLY THERE'S A SHIT LOAD OF STUFF TO PACK"

at some point i apparently removed fav notifications from the notification column

as a result of this, since coming back around to the fedi i've just assumed that nobody has liked anything i've posted, and/or that faving had somehow fallen out of style

as a result of THAT, i was just sorta like 'well shit, i guess if it isn't something that people do, maybe i shouldn't throw them around as much as i normally do?'

i now feel thoroughly silly 🤦‍♀️

and the apartment is mostly packed up

hopefully the traffic on i5 won't be too awful on saturday (who am I kidding?)

star citizen is admittedly horrifically buggy to the point of being nearly unplayable at times, but being able to do things like steal someone's luxury super yacht that they left illegally parked outside of a mining colony and taking it out on a joyride is hilariously fun 👀

joyriding in star citizen on the ground and in the air is way the hell more satisfying than it honestly has any right to be.
