the attitude around 'going carless' is more and more mirroring the attitude around organic food
in that it is being used as a one question litmus test without nuance, to sort people into "good" and "bad" without addressing any of the reasons why someone couldn't instantly eat all organic food/instantly no longer owning a car
it has become a tool of punishing those who are not sitting on a mountain of privilege
