thoughts about egg hatching apropos of nothing
there are lots of reasons it's shitty to push people who seem to be exploring their gender identity
one i find particularly damning is that the person in question might actually already know/suspect that they're trans but might not be in a life situation to safely come out or transition, in which case your invasive prodding is probably opening up a very painful wound
i know you feel like your own egg self was clueless but respect people's agency!!
