List of technology that exists in a vacuum:

  • the ISS

  • some satellites

  • that's it

✨ Fat is beautiful. Fat is round and soft and cute and smooth.

πŸ’ͺ Fat is strong. Fat is lifting and carrying and muscles and weight.

🌱 Fat is natural. Your body wants to be this size.

Fat is not ugly. Not unhealthy. Not shameful.

Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Creative professions are deeply undervalued. Artists, writers, and all kinds of creatives are underpaid. People shamelessly steal their work and treat it like a disposable commodity. People act as if it just magically appeared one day and don't bother to credit whoever made it.

Ironically, people everywhere keep trying to use that same work to make money, without having done any of the work themselves.

Our society dismisses creators while voraciously consuming the things they create.

Seriously, I hope people stop referring to the things they create as "content". You're not just making generic stuff to fill up space on a website owned by people who don't care about it. Your work deserves more respect than that. You deserve more respect than that.

The worst thing about 21st century internet culture? The fact that two generations of people have been conditioned to refer to everything they do as "content".

Are you a writer? An artist? A photographer? A film maker? A blogger? It no longer matters. You're a content creator and something something monetisation.

financial assistance, cta, I need a car

hi all.

I'm spending around $25/day on average using lyft to get to work and have to pay rent, bills, and other things at my house and my roommate has no way of helping out. Alayna is still helping me out but it isn't enough. I need to get a car so I can stop wasting so much money just to get around each day which would be around $1,000 or so. Someone is planning on buying a MacBook Pro I have that was given to me by Alayna for $700 or so and I have $70 or so in savings, but the price for me to get my car and get my license would be around $1,250 or so. I have a learners permit and I can drive fine, I just haven't been able to do the test yet because I can't afford it at the moment. My account is always near $0 bc of lyft and having to get groceries etc

If anyone can help out *at all* so I can get a car and I don't have to go work 14 hours a day at my 9-5 and a gas station I would appreciate it... I need like $500 or so if the macbook sells for me to be able to get

I hate doing this shit I'm sorry.

Quick explanation of what I mean:

In dragonball the two characters clash beams and whoevers number is bigger wins.

In JoJo a character has a highly specific power and has to figure out how to use it to get around another person's highly specific power. Actual 'power levels' are basically flatlined.
