These aren't just about you, these are to allow others to interact with posts with WARNING and not be totally caught off guard. CWs are a chance to avoid massive triggers and to significantly blunt their triggering impact.
If you think that people don't deserve to be allowed to interact with things on their own terms, consider how it would feel if you got smacked right in your most sensitive spot by somebody who then said "oh, well this world isn't safe for anyone!!"
